Pakistan has a much greater export potential in different sectors including textile, leather, carpets, surgical and sports goods, marble, mango, agro food, gem & jewellery and engineering goods. Concerted efforts are needed by all the stakeholders to tap new avenues of exports to traditional as well as the emerging markets.
Export Awards give due recognition to the leading exports who have made strenuous efforts and have made it possible to come close to export target set for that year. No doubt, the untiring work of the best performing exports needs to be acknowledged for which the contribution of FPCCI is commendable in arranging FPCCI Export Award. I anticipate that this ceremony will also induce other exporters to intensify their efforts and earn this recognition in the forthcoming years.
Moreover, I hope that the diversified activities of FPCCI will continue serving as an effective platform for projecting demand-driven export products of Pakistan beyond our shores and provide an effective guidance to make our products competitive globally. I am confident that FPCCI will continue to play a proactive role in synergizing the private sector. I felicitate all the winners on their achievements, and wish them the very best for the future.
