Staff of the Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has demolished a car showroom at Moulana Shoukat Ali Road on Monday, as it had been constructed in violation of the building plan approved by LDA.

According to LDA's spokesperson, permission had been obtained from LDA for construction of a residential building at plot number 5 of E block of Johar Town, abutting Moulana Shoukat Ali Road, but a commercial structure had been built at this place with even getting the plot commercialised by LDA. Taking notice of this situation, LDA demolished the illegally constructed structure.
