Sources present in the meeting told Business Recorder that the PDWP considered 62 development schemes of Education, Agriculture, Energy, PP&H, T&C, Culture and Health and other departments. The experts of P&D department considered every scheme and thoroughly examined the PC-1, they said.
The meeting considered all schemes including Replacement of Earth Moving Machinery in Sindh (Phase-II) Agriculture Rs 900 million, Establishment of Drinking Water Hubs (Phase-I) Rs 3032.65 million, Solar Powered Water Supply System in Sindh (Modified) Rs 402.953 million, Providing the facility of Drinking water (Ground Water) to Khairpur city at a cost Rs 199.205 million, Supply and Installation of Reverse Osmosis Rs 3407.5 15 million, Supply and Installation of Reverse Osmosis Rs 2360.169 million, Improvement of Sewerage System Rs 50.074 million, Construction/Repairing of CC Flooring in Karachi areas, Rs 39.962 million, Repairing & Construction of Get No 01, Baba Bhit, Keamari Rs 15.995 million, Construction/Repairing of Nallah at UC-01, 02, 03 and 05 of PS-89, Keamari Karachi Rs 80.803 million, Infrastructure Development Works at District Central Karachi Rs 72.222, Road Sector Development Schemes in District Central Karachi Rs 26.325 million, Road Sector Development Schemes in District East Karachi Rs 42.828 million, Construction of Road between Goth Haji Shah Baig Road to Hub River Karachi Rs 97.3 67 million and Construction and Reconditioning of various internal roads of Landhi Town and Korangi Town at Rs 194.605 million.
Besides, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) also considered many other development schemes of various sectors including Construction of road from Dadu Chowk to Dars road Rs 8.119 million, Construction of Main road to Bandhi Rs 11.549 million, Construction of main road to Dadu Chowk Rs 11.549 million, Construction of Old National Highway Moro Rs 120 million, Provision of Inter Active Board System in existing colleges Rs 15 8.873, Reconstruction of Dangerous Government Schools in Landhi and Korangi Rs 198.975, Construction of Library in Zikri Mohallah Shah Beg Line Ahmed Shah Bukhari Road, Lyari Rs 17.107 million, Rehabilitation of primary school building, village Lemo Naich, UC Baberloi and Pir Bux Maitlo, U.C Mori Taluka Khairpur Rs 1.892 million, Rehabilitation GBPS Taluka Khairpur Rs 0.758 million, Construction of Shelter less Primary School Building at Rs 3.903.
