The Government College University Faisalabad is opening a two-day seminar on Jinnah's vision of Pakistan on Tuesday (today) in order to highlight the ideas of Quiad-e-Azam. The seminar is being arranged by Department of History and Pakistan Studies. The inaugural session of the seminar will be held at 10:00 am with GCUF Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zakir Hussain in the Chair. Mili Nagmey and speeches contests are also part of the programme.

On December 18, speakers including National Language Promotion Department Islamabad Chairman Professor Dr Anwar Ahmad; Professor Dr Riaz Ahmed from Quiad -i-Azam University; Quiad -i-Azam University's Department of Gender Studies Chairperson Dr Fazana Bari; Government Commerce College Faisalabad Principal Professor Waqar Pirooz; University of Gujrat Director Shabir Hussain Shah and Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu will address.

On December 19, GCUF Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Zakir Hussain would be Chief guest whereas writer and ex-president Supreme Court Bar Council Abid Hassan Manto, senior Anchorperson Absar Alam, columnist Professor Jameel Umer, Writer Dr Ihsanul Haq, Director Colleges Faisalabad Rana MunawarKhan, MPA Mian Muhammad Rafique, and Director Lyallpur Museum Mian Attique Ahmad will also speak.
