Federal Minister for National Regulations and Services Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that a strategy is being formulated for the promotion and expansion of homoeopathic education across the country. Under the programme "Homoeopathic Universities" would be established for producing qualified homoeopathic doctors in the country, she said.

Addressing a news conference here, she said that a vigorous drive would soon be launched against the unqualified homoeopathic doctors those playing with the health of the masses. She stressed upon the homoeopathic doctors that they should help government in weeding out the quacks from the society and to ensure inexpensive way a treatment side by side allopathic treatment facilities to the masses in every nook and corner of the country.
