EDO Health informed the participants that according to National Nutrition Survey (NNS) 2011, the consumption of iodised salt at house hold level has increased from 17% (NNS 2001) to (NNS 2011). This increase in consumption of iodised salt has directly benefited the mothers and school-going children, he maintained.
