Futures spreads increased by 477 basis points during the outgoing week ended December 14 to stand at 10.99 percent. Trading activity on the futures counter also decreased during the week, as average daily volumes declined by 32 percent to 7.69 million shares, down from 11.30 million a week ago.

The average daily trading value also fell by 24.6 percent, declining to Rs 583 million, against the previous week''''s value of Rs 774 million.
