Pakistan Muslim League senior leader and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi while commenting on Chairman NAB Admiral Fasih Bokhari's statement about 65 percent corruption in Punjab Government and departments said that earlier Auditor General of Pakistan has confirmed corruption in the province.

Addressing a meeting of the party leaders and office-bearers at his residence here on Saturday, Elahi said that besides flop schemes whatever plan or programme is made during the five years by the "Khadam-e-A'ala", its first and foremost objective was loot and plunder and corruption of trillions of rupees has already been surfaced.

Questioning schemes of Sasti Roti Scheme, Food Support Programme, Green Tractors Scheme, Black and Yellow Cabs Scheme and Ashiana Housing Scheme, he alleged that billions of rupees have been plundered. He said besides these schemes of loot and plunder, billions of rupees' corruption has also been committed not only in demolishing new bridges and roads constructed during our tenure but also in newly-constructed roads, over-head bridges, etc, have been broken again and again and reconstructed during his own regime. Elahi said amidst chanting of slogans of "shame, shame" by those present that the seller of precious assets of Punjab by way of their corruption, loot and plunder have rendered surplus and prosperous Punjab of our tenure bankrupt.
