Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Saturday claimed to have arrested over three dozens suspects including notorious criminals in separate raids across the metropolis. According to police sources, Special Investigation Unit (SIU) had arrested a notorious Lyari gangster namely Fayaz Khan and recovered a weapon from his possession.

Officials said the detained person during initial course of investigation confessed to have killed five persons including political worker and was involved in police encounter at Napier. The personnel of Paramilitary Rangers took over one and a half dozens miscreants red-handed when they were busy in suspending business activities in Karachi on Friday night.

Similarly, North Nazimabad police division had arrested three suspected, who were nominated in 500 cases of street crimes. The accused, identified as Azeem, Aamir and Humayu, were arrested from Tehmoria police limits with weapons and snatched valuables. Some 18 suspects were also detained by East Zone police with weapons and drugs.
