The meeting reviewed in detail the progress on various development schemes being executed in the province of Sindh with allocations of the year in budget, releases and expenditure so far-made. It was decided that the provincial government will construct a 100 bedded latest hospital with all latest facilities and the hospital will be named in the name of mother of democracy Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
The stone laying ceremony will be held early. It was also decided to complete Trauma Centre Karachi early and the same will be inaugurated soon. Chief Minister Sindh also directed to complete trauma centres of Hyderabad, Badin and others so that the same are opened for the health facility of poor and needy patients. Chief Minister Sindh also formed a 3 -member committee comprising of Secretary Health, Special Secretary (P&D) and Principal Secretary to CM, which will look into the matter and will suggest ways and means to make all trauma centres and Taluka hospitals and Basic health units functional.
Chief Minister Sindh further directed to strengthened the Sukkur Hospital, while the process of upgradation of hospitals in new districts of Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Matiari etc be upgraded and completed early. It was decided to implement bio-metric system in all secretariat office, so as to have vigilance and monitoring on attendance and performance of government employees. Chief Minister Sindh informed that besides, provision of government jobs, about 3,60,000 youth have been imparted training in various fields, out of which about 30,000 to 40,000 youth have obtained jobs as per their training fields.-PR
