The democratic atmosphere, which prevails alongside freedom of judiciary in the country presently, he added, can rightly be attributed to the services of the lawyers' community to a great extent and being lawyer by profession, he, himself always feel proud to be from amongst them.
Addressing the oath administering ceremony of the Kohat District Bar Association held at Governor's House, Peshawar on Tuesday, he further pointed out that indeed the lawyers always provided wisdom oriented leadership to the nation in highly difficult times and returned with success.
Aman Khan Bangash newly elected President of the Bar also spoke on this occasion and highlighted certain problems, which the organisation has been facing, while MPA Mussarrat Shafi Advocate was also present on this occasion. Earlier, Aman Khan Bangash, Qaisar Siddique, Iqbal Kakazai and Jabbar Hussain took oath as President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Bar respectively on t his occasion.
Responding to various points raised in the address of welcome, the Governor highly eulogised the lawyers' community for its fair and courageous role in development of the nation and said that he always talk with open mind and heart to the lawyers' community especially from the forum of Kohat Bar, which, he further remarked, also deserves appreciation for its productive response towards fulfilment of the common responsibilities of ensuring better working environment for the lawyers community.
Talking on certain proposals for ensuring accelerated improvement of socio-economic activities in the area, the Governor said that the entire Kohat region is blessed by nature with a lot of natural resources and no effort is being spared for their proper exploitation and efficient management.
Responding to another demand, the Governor also assured that the people of Kohat will get Circuit Bench of High Court shortly. He also assured the Bar to help it in getting its demands for improvement of the office fixtures fully improved and developed to the desired level.
