Former Justice Zahid Qurban Alvi, Chairman Sindh Zakat Council and Inquiry officer of Baldia factory fire incident, on Monday presented the report of the inquiry into the deadliest inferno to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Justice Alvi was tasked a few months back by the chief minister to conduct inquiry into the fire incident in order to ascertain the causes, reasons, faults damages and losses particularly the human beings. The inquiry report highlighted the causes of incident.

The report called for implementation of safety rules and regulations in the existing and new factories being established in the province.
