Senator Malik Salahuddin Dogar (70) was laid to rest on Sunday amid sob and tear by his fans and friends. Thousands of people including former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Jamshed Dasti Former federal and provincial ministers, MNA, MPAs, traders, lawyers attended his funeral prayer at MCC ground. Dogar had passed away on Saturday in Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore.

His Qul-Khawani will be held in MCC ground today at 0200 PM. His son Malik Aamer Dogar MPA said that Malik Salahuddin Dogar went to China two months ago for the transplantation of liver. He returned home after successful surgery but he could not enjoy healthy life. According to family sources, he had served as President of Punjab Football Association, three times Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) and Mayor of Multan.
