The Executive Committee of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Friday adopted a unanimous resolution to accelerate efforts regarding the further extension in Prime Minister fiscal relief package for war-affected business community of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, decided to discuss the matter with relevant official at federal level.

In this connection, the committee meeting was held under the chamber president, Dr Mohammad Yousuf Sarwar in chair. Those, who attended the meeting were including Chamber Vice Presidents, Malik Iftikhar Awan, Mohammad Anees Ashraf, former president Afan Aziz, Ghazanfar Bilour and members of the executive body.

The meeting unanimous adopted a resolution for holding meeting of the chamber members with Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to ask him for extension of special relief package. It was decided that to hold meetings with Federal Minister for Finance Dr Hafeez Shaikh, Federal Finance Secretary, and Chairman Federal Board of Revenue, to remove impediments in extension of Prime Minister Fiscal Relief Package to the war-affected business community of the province.
