Lady legislator of Pakistan Muslim League-Likeminded (PML-L) Nuzhat Pathan on Friday said that Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro's attitude with opposition members was "partial". After the assembly session wherein the lawmakers adopted four resolutions against the construction of Kalabagh Dam, LHC verdict and statements of Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif, she told reporters that Speaker did not allow the opposition to speak on Kalabagh Dam issue.

She said the opposition would bring a no-confidence motion against Nisar Khuhro to disqualify him as the speaker of the house. She alleged Khuhro of gagging the opposition voice in the last four and a half years. She said she had submitted her name with the speaker to take part in the debate on Kalabagh Dam but all the lawmakers except her were given time to speak. She said if the government was really against the Kalabagh Dam then it should contest its case at council of common interests (CCI) instead of passing resolutions.

Pathan also criticised Governor Punjab Latif Khosa for his statement against the 18th Constitutional Amendment, saying that he has disrespected his own leadership. She said "We condemn the statement as autonomy is the right of the provinces," she said. He appealed to President Zardari to question his governor for making such statement.
