The agreement was signed in a graceful ceremony held here at a local hotel. Pesco Chief Executive Tariq Saddozai and Ali Kamran, Director, Corporate Sale, Zong signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. Member, Board of Director, Pesco Nauman Wazir and senior management of Zong was also present on the occasion. Under the agreement Zong will provide connections to Pesco officers from grade 11 to 20 to bring all officers of the company in one network.
The agreement will benefit Pesco employees to report quickly for the redressal of consumers complaints and on the other hand customers will also feel comfortable. For the awareness of public, the numbers of Pesco officials will be printed on bills, so that consumers can easily access them.
Speaking on the occasion, Pesco Chief Executive said that agreement was a milestone for the redressal of consumers' complaints. He said the agreement would not only facilitate employees in keeping close co-ordination, the grievances of the consumers would also be resolved on time. He said Pesco was going to take many more consumers' friendly steps.
Director Sales, Zong, Ali Kamran said the agreement would help enable the company to extend better services to customers and would facilitate them. He said Zong was a Chinese word which means prosperity and they would bring prosperity by the success of the project.
He was optimistic that soon Zong would become Pakistan's number one cellular net work. In his address, Numan Wazir said they were making Pesco a model distribution company, which would be completely computerised very soon to facilitate public for the quick redressal of the complaints of consumers.
