Grams showed upward trend on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 100 to Rs 6400-6800, grams Australia Dall No 1 followed same trend, picked up Rs 200 to Rs 7800-8200, gram 50x50 also rose by Rs 100 to Rs 7100-7500, other items retained overnight levels during the day, they said.

On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type did not show any change at Rs 3225 while the best variety was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 3275 in slow trading, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sind (old) maintained overnight levels, while the cottonseeds oilcake with bag (new) inferior type was unchanged at Rs 900 and the best type was up by Rs 20 to Rs 1020, they said. Prices were inert in process of trading, they said.
