Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal here on Wednesday while meeting 20-member Iranian delegation led by Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs Ali uddin Brojervi said that there are vast scope of investment in Pakistan in power, education, agricultural and live stock sectors.

He said that like Europe, Islamic countries should think over having a common currency of their own. Speaker said that with betterment of economic ties between both countries ties would be further consolidated between them. Rana Muhammad Iqbal on the occasion applauded rich Iranian cultural heritage and educational contribution. Iqbal assured the delegation that Pakistani nation stood with Iranian people, like in the past and they considered them as their brethren. Iranian delegation leader said that like flood emergency, they would again stand by Pakistani nation in all difficulties.
