At least four security personnel were killed and several others injured when suicide bombers rammed explosive-laden vehicle into the gate of army camp, here on Wednesday. According to details, two suicide bombers drove their explosive-laden vehicle into the entrance of Zeri Noor camp near Wana in South Waziristan Agency (SWA).

According to military sources a suicide attempt was foiled near Wana in South Waziristan tribal region when two suicide bombers, in an explosive-laden car targeted the Zeri Noor camp. Sentries at the Zehri camp spotted the suicide car approaching the military camp, 100 metres from the camp. The explosive-laden car detonated near the entrance of the Zeri Noor camp killing four security personnel and injuring 20 others and also caused damage to a nearby mosque. The attackers, reportedly drove in from Afghanistan, were stopped before they could get into the camp where thousands of soldiers are stationed, army officials said.
