Health professionals have underscored the need for creation of healthy society by raising awareness among public about healthy living. They were speaking at 'White Coat' ceremony held here at Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College (AM&DC) on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Professor Khalid Masood Gondal, DGIR, College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) said that we have to work for the ailing humanity from the very core of our hearts and be a role model for rest of the world.

"Our mission must not be for worldly gain but to get prepared for the world hereafter with the help of prayers of the ailing humanity by treating them to the best of our capabilities," he said. He asserted that the words of service of humanity should be converted into reality. Professor Jawad Sajid Khan, Chairman Board of Management of AM&DC emphasised upon the medical students to work hard which must be the foremost responsibility of prospective doctors.
