Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said that Governor Punjab cannot hoodwink the people by talking about South Punjab and those who have raised the slogan of South Punjab have given the people of the region nothing but deprivation. Commenting upon the statement of Governor Punjab, Rana Sanaullah said Punjab government of PML-N had allocated unprecedented funds for the uplift and development of South Punjab.

He said the provincial government was following the policy of removing the backwardness of South Punjab and had undertaken record development activities in the area. He said that by raising the slogan of South Punjab, Zardari gang had tried to divert the attention of masses from its corruption. Rana Sanaullah said Governor Punjab should well remember that general elections were near and the looters and plunderers were soon going to meet their logical end.
