To a question regarding Fazlullah, he said that government of Pakistan had made several requests to Afghan government in this regard. "The main reason of non-implementation of immigration laws on Pak-Afghan boarder is lack of cooperation by Afghan government," he said. He also said that Lashkar-e-Jhangvi might undertake terrorist activities in different cities of Punjab in the next few days.
About Asghar Khan Case, he said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had started examining different legal aspects of the case for taking action the ex servicemen and civilian accused of distributing or receiving money. "FIA will take action against those accused in Asghar Khan Case under the law," he said. Rehman Malik said that he would reveal the names of the murderers of Benazir Bhutto and other little-known details of her assassination in his upcoming book.
He said that government has withdrawn the authority of black listing the citizens on charge of counterfeiting from NADRA, as well as announced amnesty for citizen who possesses two Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) or Passport. He said that no penalty will be imposed on citizens, who voluntarily surrender one CNIC and Passport and no action will be taken against them. He also said that government has lifted ban regarding CNIC and region card for the foreigner wives of Pakistani citizens. Rehman Malik said that smart-card introduced by the NADRA has 36 security features including health and life insurance of car holders. NADRA will introduce electronic card in future to facilitate citizens.
