The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday issued a notice to the former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in connection with the appointment of Adnan Khawaja as managing director of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL). The NAB sources said that Gilani had been issued a notice to submit his stance on the matter within two weeks.

Gilani had appointed Adnan Khwaja, an NRO beneficiary, as managing director of OGDCL despite. Earlier, the Supreme Court had declared Khawaja's appointment as OGDCL managing director null and void.
