He said that Tesco had Rs 798 million arrears against thirteen major government departments in Fata by October 2012. Out of total arrears Rs 36.583 million are outstanding against Cadet college Razmak, Rs 47.655 million against Fata D.C, Rs 36.254 million against Garrison Engineers Army, Rs 40.762 million against Militia Scouts, Rs 53.773 million against Frontier Corps and Rs 57.395 million against Political Agents in Fata.
Similarly, Rs 39.328 million arrears are outstanding against Education, Rs 66.741 million against Health, Rs 98.655 million against Work & Services, Rs 191.740 million against Water Management, Rs 14.843 million against Frontier Constabulary, Rs 97.815 million against irrigation & Power and Rs 17.098 against Agriculture Engineering of KP and Federal government.
Tesco has asked these departments to clear their dues immediately because the financial position of company is weak and it could not bear additional burden of arrears. There will be no other option except to disconnect these departments if they failed to deposit their dues by the deadline. The Chief Executive Officer Tesco Engr. Pervez Khankhel Swati has strictly directed all field formations to recover all outstanding arrears from government departments by the given deadline or disconnect them.
