He was talking to media and a gathering of analysts of medicines of the country at the concluding ceremony of 2-day workshop on "Generic Medicine" held at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI). The workshop was organised by Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company in Co-operation with LCCI and Health Department.
He further said that the reports about Syrup Tyno were cleared and it was manufactured according to prescribed formula and there was no element of anti-human body and declared fit for human consumption. He said that Punjab government would soon release the facts of the inquiry being conducted now a day and take into confidence the people and the media.
President-Board of Management, Pakistan Drug Testing and Research Centre Rizwan Khalid Butt said that this research centre would benefit not only the exporters of medicines of the country but also save time and money of the entire pharma industry, as it would conduct analytical examination of drugs manufactured in the country instead abroad.
