Ahmadzai Wazir Tribe and members of the Wana Peace Committee have given an ultimatum to Mehsud tribesmen to leave the area by 5th of December. The decision was taken at a grand Jirga of Wazir tribe and members of the peace committee in which large number of tribal elders participated. Mehsud tribesmen including militants and IDPs were told to leave Wazir tribes boundaries including Barma, Shakai, Toi Khuld and Wana tehsils by the given date and warned that it was the last ultimatum to them.

They said that if any Mehsud IDPs or terrorist elements were arrested after 5th of December, they would be considered as national criminals. The arrested person would be forced to pay Rs 10 lakh as fine and his house would be demolished. The government officials confirmed the report of the ultimatum but refused to give any reasons for it. Sources however, said it could be in retaliation to the suicide attack on Mullah Nazir, a few days back.
