Some 38 prisoners including members of banned outfit, who were sent to Hyderabad Jail for security reasons, were returned to Karachi Central Jail here on Saturday. According to Jail Superintendent Shakir Shah, the action was taken on the directives of Sindh High Court. He said these 38 prisoners were shifted to interior Sindh in two phases during August, 2012, due to security reasons.

Meanwhile, the sources said these prisoners including senior member of banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Akram Lahori were shifted to interior Sindh as the authority had received the intelligence information that the strong network of banned outfits was established in the prison.
