Renowned columnist of an English daily, Ardeshir Cowasjee passed away after a protracted illness here on Saturday. Ardeshir Cowasjee, the senior columnist and social worker had been suffering from illness for quite a long time. He was born on April 13, 1926 in Karachi. Cowasjee gained popularity from his columns in the leading English daily of Pakistan.

His funeral will be held on November 27, at 11 am. The sarosh prayers of Ardeshir Cowasjee will be held on Sunday (today) and Monday at 5:45 pm at his residence on 10 Mary Road, Bath Island.
