President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with MQM leader Altaf Hussain here on Friday night and discussed current political situation, law and order in Karachi and coalition matters with him. The President thanked MQM leader for the support, extended by MQM to Pakistan Peoples Party during the election of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.

President Zardari also appreciated the role of MQM leader for the strengthening of democracy in the country and for extending full support and co-operation to the government as a political ally.
