Famous music director Master Inayat Hussain was being remembered on his 19th death anniversary who passed away on March 26, 1993. He composed unforgettable film songs in almost four-decade long film career. Master Inayat Hussain was a legendry music director in Pakistani films. His first composition was in a Lahore based Punjabi film Kamli before partition in 1946.

After independence he was music director in film Hachkolay (1949) but the breakthrough came in the next year with a super hit Punjabi song "suhe choorhe waliye" sung by Inayat Hussain Bhatti in film Shammi. He became popular in the whole subcontinent after his memorable composition of film Gumnam's song "Payel mein geet hayn chham chham ke." Master Inayat Hussain was recognised as a legend after his performance in film Qatil. "Ulfat ki nayi manzil ko chala" sung by Iqbal Bano was all time greatest classic hit.
