Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that they are in politics to serve people and fulfil the mission of Quaid-e-Azamd, and not for power or personal gains. He was addressing a press conference here on Monday to announce the joining of a famous singer and social worker Abrar-ul-Haq. On the occasion, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other party leaders were also present.

He boosted that the tsunami will wipe-out the PPP, PML-N and PML-Q. He observed that the time has come for the rulers to leave the government, they will not last long. "Time has come to make a new Pakistan and in this connection he will announce an agenda on December 25," he added.

He invited the entire nation to take part in politics to make a new Pakistan. He observed that all three leading political parties are run by families. "Bilal Bhutto does not live in Pakistan and he is asked to learn Urdu; under these circumstances how can he run the country's affairs," he added. Khan was of the view that it will make no difference if the PPP wins the senate elections, no world power can stop the process of change in the country.

On memo scandal, he said it is a sensitive matter and the Supreme Court will ascertain the actual facts. On this occasion Abrar-ul-Haq, his brother Major (Retd) Asrar-ul-Haq, PML-Q General Secretary Chaudhary Akran Minhas and others announced the joining of the party.
