Expanding knowledge and level of expertise as coach of a team makes a big difference in football, as it helps gain confidence in the discipline. Head Coach Pakistan football team, Austria's Georg Kottan stated this during the 'PFF Special Refresher Coaching Course' at FIFA Football House Lahore on Wednesday.

Four youth football coaches, working under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)'s AID-27 Financial Assistance Scheme, spoke to the occasion and highlighted different aspects of the game of football.

Former National Coach from Sargodha, Shahzad Anwar spoke on 'How PFF got better results from Youth Development Programme' while Karachi-based Nasir Ismail, head coach of Pakistan in Youth Festivals in Dhaka 2007 and Tehran 2008, talked about 'Development of football technique and skill at grass root level. The course will continue till June 14.
