The ruling-coalition parties won various constituencies of national and provincial assemblies in the by-polls as per unofficial results. According to a private TV channel, the PML (N) is leading in the by-election, as it won most of the seats of national and provincial assembly lying vacant in Punjab, followed by PPP and ANP.

PPP candidate Khanzada Khan won the National Assembly seat from NA-11 (Mardan-III). At NA-52 (Rawalpindi-III ) son-in-law of PML (N) chief Nawaz Sharif and party's candidate Captain Safdar was declared successful as per unofficial results. PML (N) candidate Perwez Khan was reported to be successful at NA-55 (Rawalpindi-VI).

PML (N) won another seat of National Assembly from NA-131 (Shiekhupura-I) where its candidate Rana Afzal declared successful, according to unofficial results. Another PML (N) candidate Rana Sanaullah won the seat of provincial assembly from PP-70 (Faisalabad-XX).

PML (N) candidate Rana Arshad declared successful at PP-171 (Nankana Sahab-II). At PP-154 (Lahore-XVIII) Zaeem Hussain Qadri of PML (N) won the seat of Punjab Assembly.

President PML (N) Punjab Zulfiqar Khosa declared successful at PP-24 (Jhelum-I). Another PML (N) loyal Fida Hussain won his seat of provincial assembly at PP-277 (Bahawalnagar-I). PML (N) candidate Rana Shamim Ahmed Khan declared successful with 24994 votes at PP-124 (Sialkot-IV). ANP candidate Sher Shah Khan received 7644 votes and declared successful at PF-81 (Swat-II).

Anwar Khan Advocate, a PPP candidate, reportedly won the by- polls with 4724 votes at PF-91 (Upper Dir-I). At PF-92 (Upper Dir-II), Badshah Saleh, a PPP candidate, won the polls by getting 13134 as per unofficially announced results.

PPP candidate Qasim Zia reported to be declared successful with 33947 votes against Amjad Waraich (Independent) who received 20370 votes at PP-59 (Faisalabad-IX). The by-election held at five National and 28 provincial assemblies' constituencies.
