The two remaining audit paras were recommended for re-verification during the next audit, said a press release on Thursday. The Departmental Accounts Committee (DAC) cleared seven of the nine audit paras and recommended for settlement which were initially observed by the Auditor General of Pakistan during an audit of the NCHD/PHDF.
Initially, the audit had raised these paras including the Endowment Fund of Rs 750 million, unaccounted funds of Rs 340 million and expenditures and income regarding various fundraising activities such as Telethon, have all been recommended for settlement.
The NCHD/PHDF have also had its annual audit done by Messer Ferguson & Company ever since its inception in 2002 and the audited statements are placed before the respective Boards of NCHD and PHDF for approval and also posted on their websites.-PR
