The Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has said the recommendations received from different political parties for provincial autonomy have been finalised and the same in original along with suggestions of Muslim League Sindh Chapter would be sent to the federal government within shortest possible time.

This he said while talking to the electronic media at Circuit House Hyderabad on Saturday night. He said it was the first government in the history of Pakistan that has taken practical steps for the provincial autonomy and protection of provincial rights. Not only this, but has launched multipurpose development and reforming programmes for the prosperity of the people. That is the reason Muslim League is enjoying masses support at large.

Arbab said any party desiring deal with the present government must accept to President Musharraf in the uniform. He said since 1997 some leaders sitting outside the country were claiming their return to Pakistan but they didn't honoured their words till yet, on the contrary, the released top leader of that party instead of sitting with the people of Pakistan he left for abroad, he added.

The Sindh Chief Minister who was also the President of Muslim League Sindh chapter said that Muslim League was a big political party, enjoying the majority of the people would not be affected due to conspiracies of opponent political parties.

He made it clear that President's election for his second term from present assemblies was purely legal step as the first tenure of the president would be finished before expiration of present assemblies and said adding that in such situation only existing assemblies could elect the president of the country. He said that some political leaders were misguiding to the people that they would be in power in near future but actually they were cheating the people to serve their personal motives.

He said Muslim League (Q) was a big political party enjoying masses support in majority which could be ascertain from the successful public meeting recently held in Larkana. He said adding that his party is also arranging an other major public meeting near Naun Kot in the first week of next month on the eve of ground breaking ceremonies of Cadet College and other development schemes.

While responding a question about the implementation over the housing schemes announced by him for the journalists of Hyderabad, the Sindh Chief Minister said he had announced the scheme with his commitment and sincere intention and assured that it would be implemented in the same spirit.

He assigned his Advisor Ms Nuzhat Pathan to co-ordinate and get the piece of land allotted from the Board of Revenue for housing scheme within shortest possible time. He said he believes press friendly environment as such he had sanctioned maximum financial assistance for the press clubs in Sindh during the year 2006.

Earlier, the Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Rahim presided over the meeting of leaders, office-bearers, elected members belonging to Pakistan Muslim League (Q) from the districts of ex-Hyderabad Division and Nawabshah. He discussed the strategy to make the Muslim League (Q) more effective, expedite the pace of development works and to launch public prosperity oriented projects in the province.

Provincial Minister for Revenue Dr Irfan Gul Magsi, Sindh Minister for Population Welfare Syed Ali Bux Shah (Papoo Shah), Advisor to CM Senator Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi, Advisor to Chief Minister Ms Nuzhat Pathan and other prominent leaders of the Muslim League (Q) attended the meeting.

Soon after his arrival, the Sindh Chief Minister inspected different sites along with Thandi Sarak Hyderabad for launching some proposed development projects of Hyderabad.
