Our customers can now go to our Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Clifton or Gulshan Chowrangi branches early in the morning before going to the office/work or drop by at the bank in the evening on their way home and not worry about having to take out time from their busy daily schedules", he added.

"From 8 am till 5 pm we offer the full range of our banking services", he said adding that after 5 pm till 8 pm customers can carry out transactions like acceptance of cash, acceptance of cheques for collection and clearing, acceptance of transfer instructions, acceptance of cheque book, pay order and demand draft requests, locker operations (where locker facility is available), telephone banking and Internet banking requests.

He said Meezan Bank is the first bank in the country, which has introduced this service and pointed out that the bank would extend this service in other branches all over the country very soon. Their broad product menu offers a complete range of Islamic banking products and services, including commercial banking: working capital finance, import & export, guarantees, Islamic export refinance and long term financing, he added.

Qureshi said in retail banking the bank offers a complete range of current and savings accounts, term deposits, and foreign currency accounts services.

Arshad Majeed said that Meezan Bank's mission is to provide its customers dedicated and pure Islamic Banking facilities, with 36 real time online branches in all major cities of the country.

On a query, Qureshi said that Meezan Bank is rapidly growing in the country with a tremendous annual growth rate of 100 percent. He pointed out that the bank's branches would increase to 50 till the Ramazan and above 60 till the end of this year. "We want to spread our network in all the major cities," he added.
