Seventeen fishermen were missing while two of their fellow crewmembers were found alive after their boat sank at sea, officials said on Thursday. The vessel had not been heard of since leaving the Karachi port on May 2 but it was unclear when it went down, a spokesman for the Fishermen's Society told AFP. The two survivors were found clinging to driftwood in deep water off the Gwadar port. They were suffering from exposure and were too exhausted to give details of what happened to the launch, the society said. A search was under way for the rest of the crewmen, the society added.
