Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Abdullah Bin Ahmad Badawi inaugurated Dancom's long distance international (LDI) and local loop services at Serena Hotel here on Thursday. Dancom Pakistan was awarded the licence to operate LDI services in Pakistan as a result of the decision to deregulate telecommunication industry of the ministry of IT & T. It will open a new era of competition in the telecommunication field, says a press release issued here.

Call Points Calling Cards and Car Pay Phone Services enhanced with new LDI features offering long distance and international call facility. The LDI capably connects to the public service network and comprises technical features that permit establishing of a telephony channel capable of allowing users to make and receive local, long distance, international real time video calls as well as voice telephone calls.
