On the instructions of Provincial Home Secretary Punjab, Seetal Mari, Multan police have registered a case against 800 activists of PPPP while Jalilabad (Multan) police have registered a case against 2200 activists of PPPP including Deputy Parliamentary Leader of PPPP Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Former Mayor of Multan Corporation, Malik Salahuddin Dogar, former Federal Minister Malik Mukhtar Ahmed Awan, Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani, Malik Ahmed Hussain Dehar.

Divisional Co-ordinator, Khalid Hanif Lodhi, District President, Khurshid Ahmed Khan City President, Khawaja Rizwan Alam, Naib Nazim Malik Amer Dogar, Nazimeen, Malik Ashiq Hussain Shujra and Shaikh Shahid Jamal and hundreds of other workers on the charge or violating the restrictions of taking out processions, holding rallies, creating law and order situation in Multan city on December 19 on the arrival of Malik Salahuddin Dogar, Ex-MPA and ex-Mayor Multan city.

Participants also chanted anti government slogans and the speakers delivered objectionable and very harsh speeches against the government.

It may be recalled that Pakistan People Party Multan organised a big show on December 19 in the guise of reception of Malik Salahuddin Dogar who was bailed out by High Court and suspended the punishment awarded by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court.

This rally was led by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Malik Ahmed Hussain Dehar, Syed Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani, Khalid Hanif Lodhi, Khurshid Ahmed Khan, Malik Liaquat Dogar, MNA, Malik Amer Dogar, District Naib Nazim, Khawaja Rizwan Alam and other party leaders.
