WorldCALL Group has secured the Long Distance International (LDI) services licence from the regulatory authority, PTA.

The LDI licence allows WorldCALL Group to offer straightforward nation-wide and international calling plans to domestic, trade and corporate users either through 4-digit call by call option or through the customer pre-select in addition to termination of international minutes coming into Pakistan.

The award of this licence took place by PTA after the Worldcall Group met the legal requirements including submission of a performance bond worth $10 million.

An official spokesman of WorldCALL said, "This would bring the true benefits of competition--choice and value--to Pakistan consumers, both corporate and domestic. It will also provide support to strong economic growth in Pakistan. With long distance service commitment, the WorldCALL Group is passing a milestone in its history of operations."
