A talented cricket player from Zakha Khel tribe of Landi Kotal, Khyber Agency was selected for national cricket team Under-19 for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour. Shaheen Shah Afridi who is the left arm fast bowler and is the younger brother of prominent national cricketer from the FATA, Khyber Agency, Riaz Afridi has been included in the squad of under 19 team to be left for Sri Lanka from December 10.

Talking to the media persons Shaheen Shah Afridi said that the tribal players have extraordinary abilities pertaining the game of cricket however lack of facilities restrain them to come up at national level.

He attributed his success to his parent prayer and his hard work and said he will show his best performance in the Sri Lanka tour.

It is to be mentioned here that Shaheen Shah Afridi have been part of team that had visited Australia and exhibited his best performance as fast bowler.
