Naya Nazimabad Festival Football Tournament has entered into knockout contests and Civil Aviation Authority qualified for the final beating easily Pakistan Public Works Department with 6-0 goals on Thursday on Naya Nazimabad Football Stadium. The festival departmental tournament is an initiative of Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana with an objective to promote sport as well as other healthy recreations on community level.

Naya Nazimabad takes pride of being pioneer in providing international standard sporting facilities to its residents and the community on broader spectrum in Karachi City. The event was honored by Nadeem Akhtar Director Sport Civil Aviation Authority and Syed Muhammad Talha The President Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana.

Akhtar appreciated the vision and venture of Naya Nazimabad to develop not only houses but a healthy and promising community within the society. He also praised players of both teams for showing the best of their sporting skills in this contest. The second semi final of Naya Nazimabad festival football tournament 2019 will be played between National Bank of Pakistan and Karachi United on Saturday 28 September 2019. While, the final of Naya Nazimabad festival football tournament will be played on Sunday September 29, 2019.
