Chicago Board of Trade soyaabean futures fell on Friday as US farm states said Chinese agriculture officials canceled visits planned for next week. CBOT November soyaabeans settled 10-1/4 cents lower at $8.82-3/4 per bushel. CBOT December soyaameal ended down $1.10 at $295 per short ton and December soyaaoil fell 0.57 cent to settle to 29.4 cents per pound.

Favourable weather for late-planted US crops added pressure on prices, traders said.

China's cancelled visits to Montana and Nebraska rattled soyaa traders because China is the world's biggest soyaabean importer and has slashed purchases from the United States over the past year in the countries' tit-for-tat trade war.

As US-China trade talks were held in Washington, US President Donald Trump said he wanted a complete trade deal with the Asian nation, not just an agreement for China to buy more US agricultural goods.

China recently bought some US soyaabeans, but those deals have already been digested by market, traders said.
