Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla leading a delegation of senators would take up the matter of human rights violation in Occupied Kashmir in four-day long Euro Asian Conference scheduled to be held from September 22 in Kazakhstan. In a press conference, the deputy chairman said that he would highlight the ongoing human rights violation in Occupied Kashmir at the conference which would be attended by speakers of 54 member countries- an important forum of parliamentarians' diplomacy.

"I hope to bring resolution against the human rights violations and also convey Pakistani people's concern to the speaker of Indian Parliament that Indian policies on Kashmir are against the international laws," he added. Responding to a question, he said that no country supports human rights violations in any country and hoped to get the resolution passed from the member countries.

He explained that it is a forum to highlight nongovernmental issues and share each other experiences. He further said that Pakistan had also requested to host Euro Asian Conference here. Last year this conference was held in Turkey, he added. He further announced that cricket team of Sri Lanka will arrive in Pakistan as President of Sri Lanka and parliamentarians assured him during his recent visit to Sri Lanka in this regard.

Responding to another question, he said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) complies with the ruling of Senate, adding he in a ruling directed the NAB to inform the House before arresting any senator in future.
