On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,120. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.023 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 5,237.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 1.641 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS PKR 476.041 million, WTI Crude Oil PKR 420.825 million, Platinum PKR 412.580 million, Silver PKR 381.764 million, DJ PKR 358.320 million, NSDQ100 PKR 262.113 million, Palladium PKR 23.842 million, Copper PKR 23.084 million, Natural Gas PKR 11.601 million, SP500 PKR 9.122 million and Brent Crude Oil PKR 2.580 million.
