Pakistan's delegation will be led by Director General South Asia and SAARC and Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal. The talks are being held after the technical experts of the two sides held deliberations last week. Pakistan has already completed 95 percent of the work on its side of the border as the proposed corridor will connect Darbar Sahib in Pakistan's Kartarpur with Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district.
This will be the first high-level contact between the two countries following Pakistan downgraded the diplomatic ties and trade relations with India in response to Modi government's illegal actions of August 5, revoking the special status of the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
