The mother of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has been passed away after protracted illness. He funeral prayers were offered at Matta, district Swat. A large number of people including members of National and provincial assemblies, government officials, PTI workers, elites and general public attended the funeral prayers.

Meanwhile, the KP Governor Shah Farman, KP Assembly Speaker, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, provincial ministers Shahram Khan Tarakai, Sultan Mohammad Khan, Shaukat Yousafzai, Dr Amjad Ali, Akbar Ayub Khan, Shakil Khan, Adviser Ajmal Wazir, Special Assistant Kamran Khan Bangash have expressed condolence with the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan over the death of his mother and prayed for the eternal peace of her departed soul.
