Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Indian movie would not be screened in Pakistani cinemas. Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House on Thursday, she said the PTI government would use all forums for extending support to the Kashmiris in the wake of revocation of Article 370 by India. She said that a policy is being formulated to ban all kinds of Indian cultural contents in Pakistan.

She said that efforts are being made to highlight the plight of the residents of occupied Kashmir at the United Nations by Pakistan's envoy Dr Maleeha Lodhi and by contacting the heads of government. Awan said that the civil and military leadership has resolved to transform this challenge into an opportunity by effectively highlighting the Kashmir issue. She said that there is complete ban on media and other sources of information in occupied Kashmir. She said the international media and other neutral forums should be provided access to observe the situation in occupied Kashmir.
