Pakistan Customs has destroyed huge quantity of smuggled/contraband goods including Narcotics, Narcotics Precursor (Acetic Anhydride), liquor, Gutka, medicines, betel nuts etc here on Thursday. The destruction ceremony was held at Rangers Shooting and Saddle Club, Gadap Town, Karachi. Dr Jawwad Uwais Agha member operations FBR graced the event as chief guest.

The customs department during destruction ceremony torched 8,752 kilograms of narcotics substances; 21,700 kilograms of narcotics precursor (Acetic Anhydride), 58,784 bottles/cans of liquor and beer; 1,164,000 sticks of counterfeit cigarettes, 8,520,704 pouches of Gutka and Naswar, 577 tons of betel nuts and 2,000 kilograms of miscellaneous goods.-PR
