This apropos a news item titled 'Ex-interior minister meets army chief' carried by the newspaper in its yesterday's issue. The ISPR has denied this news and termed it fake. This newspaper which is known for its objectivity regrets the inadvertent publication of this news item without obtaining views from military spokesperson and extends its apology. The news item carried other conjecturing which is being investigated and outcome will be shared with ISPR including disclosure of identity of quoted military source which to ISPR is matter of institutional code of conduct.
